Answer:

The correct answer is Electrons.

Explanation:

When a cell receives a glocusa molecule, much of it converts it into energy and this helps it boost its metabolic reactions.

This energy is extracted by reactions called catabolic reactions, and during this reaction the molecules break into smaller pieces.

While glucose is broken down into small pieces, energy is released in the form of ATP. Here the electrons found in glucose are transferred to small molecules called electron carriers, which are transported to a group of proteins found in the inner membrane of the mitochondrion, and it is called the electron transport chain.

When electrons pass from one molecule to another it is when cellular respiration is generated, and the reactions generated during this process are redox reactions.

What affects algal growth with increasing depth in the ocean?
andrew-mc [135]
The answer is light.

One of the factors that affect photosynthesis is light. Without light, the photosynthetic rate is reduced or even stopped which consequently affect algal growth. With increasing depth in the ocean, there is less sunlight present. Still, algae have accessory photosynthetic plastids other than the chloroplasts that can absorb different light in greater ocean depths. This helps them to maximum use sunlight in such conditions. But, in the end, at some particular depth, they would not be able to survive.

Why cant chloroplasts and mitochondria live outside the cell now?
worty [1.4K]
In my opinion, chloroplasts and mitochondria can't live outside the cell now because mitochondria ensure the energy for the cell and the chloroplasts is important for photosynthesis. Just my opinion.

Which step is a part of the dark (light-independent) reactions?
Kay [80]
The answer is ATP molecules being produced, this happens in light and dark.
All of the other options are either directly related to light/photosynthesis or are needed to complete it.
