The coloration of Adelie penguins is very simple compared to some of their more colorful cousins. Their coloration could also be

compared to that of some predatory fish (for example, the great white shark). Develop a logical argument for how they are similar and why this is beneficial.

To avoid predators, animals often camouflage. It is an animal adaptation in order to protect themselves from predators. Adelie penguins' predators are white sharks and they have developed coloration similar to the white sharks. That way white sharks will hardly distinguish them from other sharks.

Why do monosaccharide sugars burn faster than polysaccharides?
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

Explanation:

This is because they are simpler molecular structure, with C-H bonds   compare to polysaccharides which are aggregate of monosaccharide formed by  glycosidic bonds.(covalent bonds) through condensation(This is the loss of OH and H from sugar molecules involved) the differences in strength  of  the two bonds is the reasons.

Living organisms are only able to function and thrive if they can maintain constant or stable internal conditions. This ability
Hatshy [7]
The ability of organisms to regulate and thus maintain a relatively stable internal environment, despite external pressures, is called HOMEOSTASIS. This word comes from two Latin/Greek root words: "homeo" and "stasis".
"Homeo" means constant or unchanging. And "stasis" or "static" refers to stillness, non-movement. So, together, we can translate Homeostasis into a constant stillness inside, which makes sense for "maintaining normal internal states."

What is the approximate hydronium ion concentration and hydroxide ion concentration in a cup of tea?
Natasha2012 [34]

The hydronium ion is an oxonium ion whose chemical formula is H3O + or H + (aq). It is found in the solid, gaseous or liquid state (protonation of a molecule of water).

The concentration of hydronium ion is directly linked to the pH of the tea (or any solution) by this equation.:

C° (hydronium) = 10^(-pH)

if the pH of the tea is 6 for example, than:

C° (hydronium) = 10^(-pH) = 10^(-6).
