Income per hour is: Per hour Pay+ Per hour tips=4.75+4.25=9.25 dollars

Therefore, if we include all deductions in one go we will get the net hourly income to be:

9.25-\frac{7.65+12.5+6.85}{100}\times 9.25=6.75 dollars

Therefore, in a 20 hour week, the net per week income is:

6.75\times 20=135 dollars

So, if you want to save $40.00/wk, the amount of discretionary income left per week is: 135-40=95 dollars.

If you decide to save 15% of your realized income of $ 135/wk then your weekly saving will be: \frac{15}{100}\times 135=20.25

Therefore, at this rate the monthly savings will be: 20.25\times 4=81 Dollars

Points F(3, 3), K(6, 5), J(8, 2) and L(5, 0) lie in a coordinate plane. Which lines are perpendicular?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]
To determine if a line is perpendicular to another, you must first determine the slope...
m = y1-y2/x1-x2
m of FK = 3-5/3-6 = -2/-3 = 2/3
m of FJ = 3-2/3-8 = 1/-5
m of FL = 3-0/3-5 = 3/-2
m of KJ = 5-2/6-8 = 3/-2
m of KL = 5-0/6-5 = 5
m of JL = 2-0/ 8-5 = 2/3

In order for two lines to be perpendicular, their slopes must be opposite reciprocals...
FK is perpendicular to FL
FK is perpendicular to KJ
JL is perpendicular to FL
JL is perpendicular to KJ
FJ is perpendicular to KL

Can I get the answers for number 14 plz?
nataly862011 [7]
A.
-1:
2(2)^{-1} \\ 2( \frac{1}{2}) \\ \frac{2}{2} \\ 1
(-1,1)

0:
2(2)^{0} \\ 2(1) \\ 2
(0, 2)

1:
2(2)^{1} \\ 2(2) \\ 4
(1, 4)

2:
2(2)^{2} \\ 2(4) \\ 8
(2, 8)

3:
2(2) ^{3} \\ 2(8) \\ 16
(3,16)

b.
To graph the equation, simply go through the points (-2, 0.5), (-1, 1), (0,2), (1,4), (2,8), and (3,16). Make sure you never go below 0 on the x-axis, because there's an asymptote there.

Hope this helps!

Do es compoumd interest have more of an impact for short-term
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

As the principal, interest rate, and compound periods increase, so does the future value of an investment. It doesn't matter if you are just putting some money into short-term, low rate savings accounts or CDs or long-term, higher return investments, compound interest will work for your benefit if you allow it.
