The Ottoman Empire was the last Turkish Muslim empire. It grew from Asia minor around 1300, to cover most of the Middle East, most of North Africa, and some part in Europe, such as Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Rumania, and Yugoslavia. In the Middle East, the Ottoman Empires covered Syria, Palestine, Egypt, parts of Arabia and Iraq.
