Answer:

Benefit of the bilayer structure of the plasma membrane are the following :

1) Bilayer structure of the plasma membrane helps in protecting the inner portion from poisonous substances and prevents it from entering into the cell.

2) Bilayer of plasma membrane has the ability to allow those substances which are beneficial and necessary for the cell such as nutrients and removes waste substances from the cell.

Answer: The bilayer of the plasma membrane helps to regulate the type of molecules that enter or leave the cell (maintaining the integrity of the cell). The lipid bilayer form the external boundaries of cells and regulate the traffic of molecules across the boundaries.

Explanation: The bilayer is composed mainly of lipids. They organize complex reaction sequences and play important role in cell to cell communication. The bilayer is flexible and selectively permeable, their flexibility allows the shape changes that accompany cell growth and movement while their selective permeability allows them the passage of certain compounds and ions in and out of the cell while excluding others.

A cell come a certain organism has 64 individual, or 32 pairs, of chromosomes. Which of these can you draw?
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

B. The cell cannot be a human

Explanation:

Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes, or 46 individual chromosomes. Mutations in humans usually cause there to be a single extra chromosome, or a single missing chromosome. A mutation would not cause there to be 64. So, A cannot be true. Prokaryotic cells usually have one chromosome, not 64, so C cannot be true. D cannot be assumed as you cannot tell if there is uncontrolled cell growth. Therefore, the answer would be B.

Most organisms can move from their home territory to new sites in a process called MIGRATION. A lot of animals do this like birds and fish, because they need to find warmer temperatures where they can breed and survive. When animals do not have this capacity, they won't be able to adapt within their given environment and mortality rates might go up.
