As the name suggests, the traits controlled by dominant genes are more likely to appear in our children. Recessive genes will only have an effect when the corresponding dominant gene isn't present.

It could lead to problems like not having a child due to the fact that they could have problems with development (like downs) that can be detected with genetic testing. those children have as much right as any other to live. genetic engineering can also be dangerous due to the fact that a child that was not a product of engineering can be put down for not being "perfect" as was the case on the show <em>almost human </em>that was canceled not long ago.<span />
