Which sentence is the hook in this introductory paragraph
Liono4ka [1.6K]
The best way to answer this question is to read the paragraph out loud--try to get an understanding for the author's tone. the first sentence is by fsr the most grabbing. the second and third sentences are giving some plain information (who qualifies as baby boomers or millenials). the fourth sentence is merely a lead-in for the next paragraph.

the first sentence has an affect; the other three don't have so much of one. "for the first time in decades" is something that interests you, because it signifies a big change, then the use of the dash before "the millenials" creates a dramatic pause. the emphasis is another thing that usually appears in a hook.

The last two terms are written in the explanation section.

Explanation:

Tachycardia -- it is a condition that is connected to the activity of heart where a normal heart rate is in disorder and the heart is beating faster in the state of resting.

It's normal that heart beats are faster when a person is exercising or during some other activities, or some traumas and illness.

This condition can lead to heart attack, stroke or heart failure.

Fission -- is a noun in English language and it represents the act of splitting something or dividing it in two or more parts.

It comes from Latin language, from the verb FINDERE ( to split ) --> fissio -- > fission ( English language, 17th century )
