Answer:

Explanation:

he never looks for praises

hes never one to boast

he just goes on quietly

working for those he loves

the most his dreams are

seldom spoken his wants

are very few and most of the time

his worries will go unspoken

He is a firm foundation through all storms

of life and a sturdy hand to hold

in times of sadness

A true friend we can turn to

when times are good and when times are bad

one of my greatest blessings

I call my Dad

What literary term is used to describe the following scenario:
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

The correct option is 4) epiphany

Explanation:

The term 'epiphany' describes a moment of great realization or a sudden reaction or thinking. Issac Newton was sitting calmly before an apple hit his head. As soon as the apple hot his head, he got a sudden realization about gravity. Hence, based on this perspective we can say that the situation was an epiphany for Issac Newton.

miskamm [114]

This question is missing the answer choices. I was able to find them online. They are the following:

What symbol is described in this excerpt, and what does it represent?

A. the owls, which symbolize knowledge and wisdom.

B. the nest, which symbolizes home and family.

C. the rats, which symbolize cruelty and sadness.

D. the casket, which symbolizes the loss of Doodle.

Answer:

The symbol and its representation is:

D. the casket, which symbolizes the loss of Doodle.

Explanation:

James Hurst was an American novelist born in North Carolina in 1922. He published the short story "The Scarlet Ibis" in 1960.

Doodle is just a little boy but he has an incredibly sad story. He was born with serious health problems, so no one ever thought he would live long. In the passage we are analyzing here, the narrator, who is Doodle's older brother, is showing Doodle his casket. A casket is an obvious representation of death, and quite a strong predictor of what is to come later in the story. Doodle does not accept the casket as his, but it seems that he hasn't got much of a choice. Everyone already expects him to die.

BRAINLEST + THANKS
Alex73 [517]

Answer:

Explanation:

It's compound

The first sentence: My father is going to retire next year.

Second sentence: My mother is going to keep working

Third sentence: (so) they can pay the bills without worrying.

The last entry is the hard one. So in that sentence is a conjunction and it means consequently. But is it a subordinate or a coordinate conjunction?

It think it is a coordinate conjunction. The sentence they can pay the bills without worrying is a complete thought that stands alone. Therefore the three clauses are all major clauses.

Why is the letter/word I capitalized but the letter/word a isn't?
Step2247 [10]
"I" is in regards to yourself, you and any humans name are proper nouns that you go by. "a" is not a proper noun it is describing the quantity or the subject of the matter, Ex- [I] love it when [a] cool summer day takes place in my area.

{Bad sentence, sorry}
