Well first you have to convert both into a common denominator so 5/6 x 2/2 and you get 10/12 so then you have 10 1/12's :)

5/6 equals 10/12. So there are 10 1/12's in 5/6:

1/6 = 2/12
2/6 = 4/12
3/6 = 6/12
4/6 = 8/12
5/6 = 10/12

if a shape is a regular pentagon with five sides, which of the following must be true? Check all that apply
julsineya [31]

Answer:

A. It has reflectional symmetry

B. It is symmetrical

D. It has five lines of symmetry

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A regular pentagon has 5 sides and 5 lines of symmetry. The number of lines of symmetry in a regular polygon is equal to the number of sides

Every regular polygon has reflectional symmetry

Regular polygons are symmetrical

therefore

A. It has reflectional symmetry ------> Is true

B. It is symmetrical -----> Is true

C. It has exactly one line of symmetry ----> Is false

D. It has five lines of symmetry -----> Is true

An office manager needs to decide between two tables for the conference room. One is rectangular, 5 feet wide by 10 feet long. T
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

The rectangular 5 x 10 table.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find which table the office manager needs to get so he can sit more people at it is decided by one factor, the perimeter. The rectangular one, which is 5 x 10 the perimeter is (5 x 2) + (10 x 2) = 10 + 20 = 30. The circular one can be calculated by the equation\pi * d where d = 8. Putting /pi x 8 in my calculator and it comes out approximately at 25.132, having a less amount of perimeter space to work with, making the rectangular table the way to go.

PLEASE HELP! I will award brainliest to the most helpful answer. I need an in depth explanation, not just the answer. How do you
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

y ≤ -4x+25

Step-by-step explanation:

First we need to figure out the equation for the line

The y intercept is  25

Next figure out the slope

slope = (y2-y1)/((x2-x1)

      = (49-25)/(-6-0)

      = 24/-6

    = -4

The equation for a line in slope intercept form is y = mx+b

y = -4x+25

This is a solid line so our inequality will have an equals in it.

It is shaded below, so y is less than.

If it was shaded above, y would be greater than

y ≤ -4x+25

Solve for m. (-11/6) + m = -2/9
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

m = \frac{29}{18}

Step-by-step explanation:

=> (-11/6) + m = -2/9

Adding 11/6 to both sides

=> m = -\frac{2}{9} + \frac{11}{6}

LCM = 18

=> m = \frac{-4+33}{18}

=> m = \frac{29}{18}
