Vesalius, a native of the duchy of Brabant (the southern portion of which is now in Belgium), was from a family of physicians and pharmacists. He attended the Catholic University of Leuven (Louvain) in 1529–33, and from 1533 to 1536 he studied at the medical school of the University of Paris, where he learned to dissect animals. He also had the opportunity to dissect human cadavers, and he devoted much of his time to a study of human bones, at that time easily available in the Paris cemeteries.

Which deities are older than the Ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses?
Anni [7]
If we’re speaking Greek mythology, it should be titans and titanesses. But if we’re talking in general, there were already lot of different gods from different civilizations before (ex. Off of the top of my head; Sumerians, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Indus River, etc etc.) Even so, there technically existed beings before the Titans, but they’re considered more as monsters than deities. There are also the primordial deities (ex. Gaea, Nyx, Erebus/Chaos etc etc.), but I’m fairly certain the answer you’re looking for are the Titans.

How did the leaders of Israelites know where to bring their people?
wlad13 [49]

Answer:

They were been guided by God. When I say "they", I am talking about specifically to the first ones - Moses and Joshua.

Explanation:

According to the Bible, God was instructing Moses and telling him where to go and what to do. He has been chosen by God to be the leader, and free them to Egypt. The same thing happens to Joshua, the one who assumes the leadership after Moses's death. Both were guided by God to find the Promised Land.
