Answer: The client has islands of intact memory-1

Explanation: When a person is depressed, it is usually associated with  a repetitive, brooding  of events which can make the mind of such individual go round and round over negative events in the past or present. Such individuals continue to recall and analyze events in their heads without doing anything to solve the problem.

Over time, these Negative thoughts develop into despair, low motivation and self-esteem. causing stress on the  brain and eventually causes depression.

It is therefore pertinent to say that a client having islands of intact memory is linked with depression.
