Such individuals continue to recall and analyze events in their heads without doing anything to solve the problem.

Over time, these Negative thoughts develop into despair, low motivation and self-esteem. causing stress on the  brain and eventually causes depression.

It is therefore pertinent to say that a client having islands of intact memory is linked with depression.
