I am absolutely sure that the statement represented above : Deep within the jungles of Mexico and Guatemala lie most of the Mayan ruine is TRUE. I think so because Mayans are actually originated in the areas which are stated in the question. So I am sure it will help you!

Chandragupta lives in constant fear of his enemies: The empirial rule had many allies and many rivals to fight off. It was age when the armies of Chandragupta were greatly defeated by his rivals and along with the attack from the Greek's also effected his overall military strength.
Ashoka is shocked by the suffering at the battle of Kalinga: After, his siege of the region, thousand of people on both sides were slaughter by the both the armies, as there was a scene of blood and dead bodies around Asoka when he stepped on the battle field. As a great admirer of the Buddhist ideology of life, he felt betrayed by his own desires and then went on regret his decision to attack the Kalinga empire.
