Answer:

P(R) = (18/38)

P(G) = (2/38)

P(B) = (18/38)

Step-by-step explanation:

Each spin is independent of the others, so the probabilities of the three possible outcomes (R,G,B) for each spin are:

P(R) = (18/38)

P(G) = (2/38)

P(B) = (18/38)

Alekssandra [29.7K]
Alexander has to miles to go because if one mile is a third you can simply maltiply by three, then subtract the mile he already went. you maltiply by three because it was a third of the way there

A crowd of people stood on both sides of the street to view a 4th of July Parade.
Dmitriy789 [7]

Given :

Length of parade , L = 3\ miles=3\times 5280\ miles = 15840\ miles .

Breadth of parade , B=2\times 15=30\ ft .

5 people can fit into a 25\ ft^2 area.

1 mile = 5280 ft .

To Find :

The size of the crowd.

Solution :

Area of parade ,

A=15840\times 30\ ft^2\\\\A=475200\ ft^2

Also , 5 people can fit in 25\ ft^2 area .

So , number of people fit in A is :

n = \dfrac{475200\times 5}{25}\\\\n=95040

Therefore , 95040 can fit in the parade .

Hence , this the required solution .

PLZZZ HELP NOOOOWWW!!!
maw [93]
Hello!

You can use the Pythagorean Theorem

a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}

C is the hypotenuse which is the line across the diameter
a and b are the other sides

You have to find the bottom side of the triangle

9 - 6 = 3

Put in the values you know

9^{2} + 3^{2} = c^{2}

Square the numbers

81 + 9 =  c^{2}

Add

90 =  c^{2}

take the square root of both sides

\sqrt{90} = c

The answer is C)  \sqrt{90}

Hope this helps!
