One way an orientation a person has been influenced with acceptance through media is people with different orientation being shown is popular commercials, movies, television shows, etc. Us young teens see them with someone we look up to and we follow their foot steps.

People often forget that individuals of different sexual orientations are ordinary people who lead a common standard of living, like all people. In this case, the media can help lessen this prejudice by including people of different sexual orientations in their programming and showing how harmless and common these people are.
