As a first step we have to find the total cost of all the items that Cameron purchased at the store.

The total cost of all the four items are: 1.49 + 0.93 + 1.29 + 0.79 = $4.50

This is the bill without any tax. We have been given that there is an 8% Sales tax on the bill amount

The amount of sales tax = 8% * 4.50 = 8/100 * 4.50 = 0.08*4.50 = $0.36

So the total amount he spent = $4.50 + $0.36 = $4.86

Can anyone help not understanding? And can you explain how you got it. Thanks for all your help!
Allushta [10]
No, the height wouldn't be 70 feet, it would be 80 feet.

You would get this answer by using the equation h= A/b (h meaning height)
A = area ( or 20,000)
b= base ( or 250)

Then you divide A by b:
20,000/ 250 =
80

I hoped this helped! :)
