Part A: W= Wage (money earned)
$6 (earned per hour without working overtime) Equation: W=$6x
x= number of hours

S= (money earned)
$6 plus $9 (earned per hour with working overtime) Equation S=$15y
y= hours

Part C: Use S=$15y (this shows the amount of money earned after working overtime after the certain amount of hours spent)

$330=$15y

I think you can solve from there

Initial Knowledge Check
Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We first need to figure out what the equation is for this set of circumstances before we can answer any questions. We will use the equation

A(t)=P(1+r)^t which is just another form of an exponential equation where

(1 + r) is the growth rate, P is the initial investment, and t is the time in years. We will fill in the values we know first to create the equation:

A(t)=4000(1+.11)^t which simplifies to

A(t)=4000(1.11)^t

Now we'll just sub in a 1 for t and solve, then a 2 for t and solve.

When t = 1:

A(t) = 4000(1.11) so

A(t) = 4440

When t = 2:

A(t)=4000(1.11)^2 which simplifies to

A(t) = 4000(1.2321) so

A(t) = 4928.40

While traveling to Europe, Phelan exchanged 250 US dollars for euros. He spent 150 euros on his trip. After returning to the Uni
lana66690 [7]

The computation shows that the amount will be 44.70 Dollars.

How to illustrate the information?

The options are missing: Here are the missing options:

A. 44.70 US dollars

B. 73.06 US dollars

C. 136.87 US dollars

D. 140.41 US dollars

For solving this question first we will convert the USD to euros.

The conversion rate we have is:

1 euro = 1.3687 USD

250/1.3687 = 182.655 euros

Now we will subtract it from what he has spent:

= 182.655 - 150

= 32.655 euros

Now we will again convert it back to USD. This will be:

32.655 euros * 1.3687 = 44,695 us dollars

Therefore, the answer is 44.70.

Michael deposits $35,000 today in his bank account. calculate the approximate amount he will have at the end of six years if int
NNADVOKAT [17]
Compound interest is given by:
A=p(1+r/(100*n))^(nt)
where;
A=future amount
p=principle amount=$35,000
r=rate=10%=0.1
n=number of terms=2
t=time=6
Hence,
A=35,000(1+0.05)^(2*6)
A=35000(1.05)^12
A=$62,854.97
The amount of money after 6 years will be $62,854.97
