Answer:

Total time taken = 0.01524 seconds

Explanation:

Given:

Distance travel by impulse = 5 feet

Assume;

Speed of impulse = 100 m/s

Find:

Total time taken

Computation:

1 feet = 0.3048 meter

Distance travel by impulse = 5 feet = 5[0.3048] = 1.524 meter

Total time taken = Distance travel by impulse / Speed of impulse

Total time taken = 1.524 / 100

Total time taken = 0.01524 seconds

The DASH diet, the Prudent Pattern, and the Mediterranean Diet are eating patterns associated with reduced _____ incidence.
dsp73

Answer:

Mediterranean Diet and Other Dietary Patterns in Primary Prevention of Heart Failure and Changes in Cardiac Function Markers: A Systematic Review

Background: Heart failure (HF) is a complex syndrome and is recognized as the ultimate pathway of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Studies using nutritional strategies based on dietary patterns have proved to be effective for the prevention and treatment of CVD. Although there are studies that support the protective effect of these diets, their effects on the prevention of HF are not clear yet. Methods: We searched the Medline, Embase, and Cochrane databases for studies that examined dietary patterns, such as dietary approaches to stop hypertension (DASH diet), paleolithic, vegetarian, low-carb and low-fat diets and prevention of HF. No limitations were used during the search in the databases. Results: A total of 1119 studies were identified, 14 met the inclusioncriteria. Studies regarding the Mediterranean, DASH, vegetarian, and Paleolithic diets were found. The Mediterranean and DASH diets showed a protective effect on the incidence of HF and/or worsening of cardiac function parameters, with a significant difference in relation to patients who did not adhere to these dietary patterns. Conclusions: It is observed that the adoption of Mediterranean or DASH-type dietary patterns may contribute to the prevention of HF, but these results need to be analyzed with caution due to the low quality of evidence.

Explanation:

<em>Heart Failure (HF) is considered a complex clinical condition that compromises the heart’s ability to deliver oxygen properly to tissues. Generally, HF results from structural and/or functional dysfunction of the heart, which compromises its ability to fill itself with blood or to eject blood [1].</em>

Is the area of a square is only discovered in the length of its diagonal is what
mixer [17]

Answer:

area of a square= (Diagonal^2)/2

Explanation:

suppose that the square side is "a"

area of square is

Area= a^2

the diagonal "d" cut a square, making two right traingles

this fact lead us to use the pythagorian theorem which indicate that

d^2=a^2 +a^2

since we're solving for a square

2*(a^2) = d^2

dividing both side by 2

a^2= (d^2)/2

back the basic formula

area =a^2

:• area = (d^2)/2

What practice helps scientists avoid bias in their findings
VikaD [51]
To conduct a scientific investigation without bias, you would need to select a random sampling of people and set up preliminary guidelines. Questions need to be conducted and answers collected in the same manner for all people interviewed.

The nurse is caring for a client who has had 25 mg of oral hydrochlorothiazide added to the medication regimen for the treatment
Blababa [14]

"Increase the amount of fruits and vegetables you eat."

Loss of sodium, potassium, and magnesium is a side effect of thiazide diuretics. Encourage the patient to consume foods high in potassium, such as fruits and vegetables. Diuretics make the patient urinate more frequently, thus they shouldn't be taken right before bed. Thiazide diuretics don't result in dry mouth or stuffy nose. Alcohol may make postural hypotension (a side effect) worse.

<h3>What is nursing?</h3>

Nursing is the autonomous and cooperative care of people of all ages, families, groups, and communities, whether they are ill or not, and in all kinds of settings. Promoting health, preventing illness, and providing care for the sick, disabled, and dying are all included in nursing.

A registered nurse's main responsibility is to make sure that every patient receives the appropriate and direct care they require, and there are various ways in which they can do this. The needs of patients are evaluated, and RNs then implement and oversee the patient's medical plan and treatment.
