For my essay, how can I describe myself as compassionate and selfless without sounding arrogant? Or how can I describe myself as

the opposite without sounding like I’m a bad person?
Please don’t answer “I don’t know” or something like that. That really does not help me. Everyone knows you just want points.

Answer: 1. you can say that "how can I help you" or "is there anything I can do". If you want to show someone that you helped someone else (You shouldn't most of the time as it will be considered bragging), just say "Do need help? I do have some experience with that as I helped (insert person and time when you helped him or her). Be sure to keep a calm and kind tone so that it does not seem rude. 2. If you are trying to describe yourself as arrogant then you can say. "I have done may things such as (your achievements) and I think you can also achieve what you want without anyone's help. But, if you want help, I am there. Please give a brainliest so I can be an expert and continue giving answers like this.

Which sentence best describes a character depiction
butalik [34]

The correct answer is A.

From all of the given options, the best way to depict a character is by indirect characterization.

This refers to providing information about the character's personality and traits through thoughs, actions and dialogue rather than write it down explicitely.
