8,000*20=160,000. it's 160,000 because 8*2=16 and there are 4 zeroes so 16+4 zeroes is 160,000

This isn't hard at all! The 6 dolls she brought are 20% of her entire collection, right? All you have to do is multiply the 20% by 5 so you can get the amount of dolls to 100%, so

6 x 5 = 30

That's how many dolls there should be.

Can someone solve this?
aleksley [76]

Answer:

Considering the Law of Cosines:

c^2=a^2+b^2-2ab*cosC

a=14mi; b=24mi; c=CA; C=91degrees

\cos \left(91^{\circ \:}\right)=-0.01745\dots

c^2=14^2+24^2-2(14)(24)*\cos \left(91^{\circ \:}\right)\\c^2=196+576-672*\cos \left(91^{\circ \:}\right)\\c^2=772-672*\cos \left(91^{\circ \:}\right)\\c^2=772-672*(-0.01745)\\c^2=772+11.7264\\c=\sqrt{772+11.7264} \\c=\sqrt{783.7264}\\c=27.99mi
