8,000*20=160,000. it's 160,000 because 8*2=16 and there are 4 zeroes so 16+4 zeroes is 160,000

What is w+ 1/x + 1/y + 1/z if w=20, x=23, y=19, and z=28
scoundrel [369]
If W=20 put it in for W, Same with all the other letters: so now we have: 20+1/23+1/19+1/28. Now divide: 1/23=.043, 1/19=.053, 1/28=.036... Now add: 20+.043+.053+.036=20.132. The answer is 20.132 :)

If x is 32 mm what’s the area of the triangle
Ksju [112]

Answer:

4608*sqrt(3)

Step-by-step explanation:

x + 2x = 3x, so 3x is the height of the triangle.  This is a 90-60-30 triangle so the base would be 3x*sqrt(3).  To find the area, we can multiply the base with the height and divide by two, so it would be (3x)(3x*sqrt(3))/2 or (9/2)x^2 * sqrt(3).  x = 32, and plugging this into the equation gets us to (9/2)32^2 * sqrt(3), which is 4608*sqrt(3).
