<span>In the feudal system of the Medieval age, a Serf was a person who was bound to the land of his Lord. A Serf was required to service the Lord as requested. Typically, the peasant Serf would perform manual farm labor on the land and then any other duties requested by his Lord, in exchange for using part of the Lord's land to generate their own food.</span>
This resulted in an increase in the transformation of
communities due to the influx of new immigrants many of whom were at an age
where they are about to establish their own independence and make their own
mark in their new home.
The framers of the Constitution prevented tyranny separating the powers of the government, creating the system known as check and balances, where each power excercises control of the other two. All this avoids the concentration of power.
In China between 1989 and 1901, a Chinese secret organization called the Yihequan (Righteous and harmonious fists) led an uprising in northern China against the spread of Western and Japanese influence there. The group practiced certain boxing and rituals in the belief that this made them invulnerable. Their members, referred to by Westerners as Boxers killed foreigners and Chinese Christians and destroyed foreign property. By the terms of the Boxer Protocol, which officially ended the rebellion in 1901, China agreed to pay more than $330 million in reparations.
