I think its D because it can be because of many things. Here is a list of some of the variables that come to my mind:
Sugar intake depending on how much candy you eat, if any at all.
or
Meals will also add weight because most people don't have the chance to burn off the calories, whether they are playing with presents, or watching movies or whatever.

Hello there!

Your answer is D) not justifiable, because there is another variable to consider.
While Susie may gain weight during Christmas, the holiday is not magically making her gain weight. It is more likely all of those candy canes.

I hope I helped!

Find the area of a parallelogram with the given vertices. P(-2, -5), Q(9, -5), R(1, 5), S(12, 5)
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

The area of the parallelogram is 55 square unit.

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a parallelogram is

A=\frac{1}{2}\times base\times height

It is given that the vertices of the parallelogram are  P(-2, -5), Q(9, -5), R(1, 5), S(12, 5).

Plot these points on a coordinate plane, and draw a perpendicular on PQ from the point R.

From the graph is clear that length of PQ is 11 and the height of the parallelogram is 10. So, the area of a parallelogram is

A=\frac{1}{2}\times 11\times 10

A=55

Therefore the area of the parallelogram is 55 square unit.
