Answer:

Payback period (A) is 3.44 years

Payback period (B) is 2.39 years

Explanation:

Cash Flow (A) –$428,000; $42,500; $63,500; $80,500; $543,000

Cash Flow (B) –$41,500; $20,700; $13,000; $20,100; $16,900

The payback period will note consider discounting rate, thus we do manual counting till the cash flow equal to zero (0)

Payback period = Number of Years immediately preceding year of break-even + (investment - cashflow of Years immediately preceding year of break-even)/ cashflow of year break- even

Project A will be break even in Year 4, then

Payback period (A) = 3 years + ($428,000 - ($42,500+$63,500+$80,500))/ $543,000 = 3.44 years

Project B will be break even in Year 3, then

Payback period (B) = 2 years + ($41,500 - ($20,700+$13,000))/$20,100 = 3.44 years = 2.39 years

Robinson Manufacturing found the following information in its accounting records: $ 519 comma 800 of direct materials used, $
Damm [24]

Answer:

Cost of good manufactured= $1507100

Explanation:

To calculate the cost of manufactured goods we need to use the following formula:

Cost of good manufactured= Beginning work in progress+ direct materials of the period + direct labor + manufactured overhead - ending work in progress

Beginning work in progress= 72400

Direct materials = beginning inventory + purchase - ending inventory= 519800

Direct labor= 226700

Manufactured overhead= 775800

Ending work in progress= 87600

Cost of good manufactured= 72400 + 519800 + 226700 + 775800 - 87600= $1507100

Real GDP per capita is not a perfect measure of the well-being of a country's individual citizens because: Instructions: You may
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

it does not measure quality-of-life factors ; it does not account for distribution of wealth ; it fails to measure non monetary (home production) activities

Explanation:

Real GDP is the total value of goods & services produced in an economy, during a period of time. But it is not correct measure of welfare level.

 • It does not measure non monetary production, like hobby production eg kitchen gardening, self made paintings, music. But, they increase welfare
 • It does not take into consideration the qualitative factors affecting welfare like pollution, crime & literacy. Externalities cause extra benefit or harm to welfare level, but are excluded from GDP.
 • Inequitable distribution of per capita (average) GDP increases rich poor standard of living divide. So, the distribution effect ignored make GDP an inapt measure of average welfare level.

Real GDP adjusts the value of goods & services for price change (Inflation), it is a correct measure of increase in real flow of goods & services. GDP & health positive correlation is a favouring point for GDP as a measure of welfare. So, these options are incorrect.

Which of the following is not a cost created by high inflation? A. Inflationary impacts are not distributed evenly across the
dybincka [34]

Answer:

The correct answer is the option A: inflationary impacts are not distributed evenly across the population, therefore, inflation causes the economy to redistribute income across households.

Explanation:

To begin with, inflation is the name that receives, in an economic field, the term that refers to the situation where the economy of a country decreases its purchasing power per unit of money causing a loss of real value in the unit of exchange. Moreover, it affects the economy in many negative ways, such as the reductions of the real value of the wages, causing a more difficult situation for the people to buy the primary groceries. Furthemore, it also increases the opportunity cost of holding money, causing to discourage investment and savings.

Therefore, that it is understandable that the correct answer is the option A, due to the fact that a high inflation do not cause a redistribution in the income of the economy to the households, actually it causes the whole oppositve impact.
