I really dislike long simplification times 4 questions so I will jsut put the answers on some of them

1. remember that the denomenator cannot equal zero so find what values will and restrict them
the answer is the third one or \frac{3}{(x+6)(x-1)}

2. second one
(3x-2)/(5x)

3. what you would do is factor the top and divide factors making ones
answer is the  fourth one or \frac{2(3x^{2}-7)}{2x^{2}+3}

4. find the LCM of the denoemators
4x and 2
4x=2 times 2 times x
2=2
LCM=4x
answer is  the third one or 4x

ANSWERS:
1. third
2. second

What could be the intersection of plane PRS and plane QRS?
Mariana [72]

Answer:

The plane PRS passes through the points P, R and S. So it contains the line RS. Also the plane QRS passes through the points Q, R and S. So it contains the line RS as well. Since both the planes contain the line RS, the line RS must be the intersection of plane PRS and QRS

Someone solve this for me please: Find a vector v such that || v || = 10 and v is in same direction as 2i + 3j
drek231 [11]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

\overrightarrow{a}=2*\overrightarrow{i}+3*\overrightarrow{j}\\\\||\overrightarrow{a}||=\sqrt{2^2+3^2} =\sqrt{13} \\\\\boxed{\overrightarrow{v}=\dfrac{20}{\sqrt{13}}*\overrightarrow{i}+\dfrac{30}{\sqrt{13}}*\overrightarrow{j}} \\\\\\||\overrightarrow{a}||=\sqrt{(\dfrac{20}{\sqrt{13}})^2+(\dfrac{30}{\sqrt{13}})^2} =\sqrt{\dfrac{400+900}{13} }==\sqrt{\dfrac{1300}{13} }=\sqrt{100}=10 \\

Simplify the expression k-2(k-(2-k))-2
Reil [10]
Simplify the following:
k - 2 (k - (2 - k)) - 2
-(2 - k) = k - 2:
k - 2 (k + k - 2) - 2
Grouping like terms, k + k - 2 = (k + k) - 2:
k - 2 ((k + k) - 2) - 2
k + k = 2 k:
k - 2 (2 k - 2) - 2
-2 (2 k - 2) = 4 - 4 k:
k + 4 - 4 k - 2
Grouping like terms, k - 4 k - 2 + 4 = (4 - 2) + (k - 4 k):
(4 - 2) + (k - 4 k)
k - 4 k = -3 k:
-3 k + (4 - 2)
4 - 2 = 2:
Answer:  2 - 3 k
