Sarit is at a bar full of music, chatter, and laughter. He gets involved in an interesting conversation with a woman named Mona,
and he tunes out all the background noise. Sarit's friend, Karen, taps him on the shoulder and asks what song just played on the jukebox. Sarit says he doesn't know, even though he is sitting right next to the jukebox and is familiar with popular music. This illustrates the role that ________ plays in what is sensed versus what is perceived. (a) Attention
(b) Friendship
(c) Habit
(d) Mood
Attention refers to the behaviour and cognitive way of focusing on one object or subject exceptionally whilst blocking everything else out.
Attention makes you keep out everything else either information or sensation and perception which seems not to matter at that moment and put all your focus energy into that one specific information that is vital to you at that moment .
Sarit is attracted to Mona and everything else seems to not matter at this moment because he wants to focus all his energy to her and probably get all her attention also in return.
In my opinion, Americanization can be both good and bad for
young adolescents. It can help them become independent but it can also cause
major issue with culture. The US had been the home of many cultures. There is a
possibility that many of these adolescents might forget their cultural
traditions and practices because they are more used to being American.
Body systems are groups of organs and tissues that work together to perform important jobs for the body. Some organs may be part of more than one body system if they serve more than one function. Other organs and tissues serve a purpose in only one body system.
