In addition the oxygen in the Earth's atmosphere absorbs wavelengths at the edge of the ultra-violet region of the spectrum. The resulting color, which appears like a pale blue, actually is a mixture of all the scattered colors, mainly blue and green.

A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

What would be the mRNA complementary base sequence for a DNA strand that is: A  C G G T C<br>
Alina [70]
It would be UGCCAG. This is because in mRNA, thymine is replaced by Uracil. That means the complementary base pairings are uracil and adenine (instead of thymine and adenine in DNA) and cytosine and guanine. So you need to change them to the other base in the pair. Meaning A (adenine) becomes the base it is paired with, being Uracil in this case and so on.

Which of the following is an indicator that a finding may be "junk" science?
liubo4ka [24]

Answer: a.The study is funded by a group with a financial interest in the outcome.

Explanation:

Junk science is a term that is used to describe scientific research or data that is false and fraudulent and is usually presented in order for the people behind it to be able to push an agenda or assertion.

If a study is funded by a group with a financial interest in the outcome, the research could end up being junk science as the backs might persuade the researchers to manipulate the data in such a way that it would favor them.

For instance, a Big Tobacco funded research into lung cancer finding that smoking does not contribute as much as previously thought to lung cancer
