Waves moving on the shore erode the shore line and move the sediments towards the inland.
The water force generated by tides cause’s continuous changes in surrounding physical components (such as coral reefs, rocks etc.) as it strike against them with full force. Continuous striking leads to erosion and movement of loose sediments thereby causing appearance of headland over time.
