Buffalo Bill dehumanized the American Indians and made shows out of their culture.

Explanation:

Buffalo Bill was a showman who ran very successful shows and circuses that involved heavily the native american culture and to use this appropriation he had heavily exploited the Indians and made them sell their culture for his shows.

The responsibility of this appropriation was that there were many cultural artifacts that were lost to Buffalo Bill who used them carelessly and a great amount of native american art has been lost because of him

It also made the public more invested in making fun of the natives and their customs which had adverse effects long after.
