Hey. Let me help you out

First, let's rewrite the equation in order to minimize confusion. The way you wrote it makes it hard to vision it.

7d^2+10d=3

Now, we just replace the variable d with a value we have.

7(3^2)+10

Three to the power of two is going to equal to 9.

7*9+10

Seven times nine is 63.

63+10

Finally, 63 plus 10 is going to be 73.

Answer is 73

Which of the following best explains why
Dima020 [189]

We can see values of angles in degrees first

\frac{5\pi}{6} = \frac{5 \times 180}{6}= \frac{900}{6} = 150°

Similarly

\frac{5\pi}{3} = \frac{5 \times 180}{3}= \frac{900}{3} = 300°

Now reference angle means positive acute angle they will have

As we can see in attachment 150° lies in second quadrant so its reference angle will be 180°-150° = 30° from x axis line as shown.

Where as angle 300° lies in fourth quadrant so its reference angle will be 360° - 300° = 60° from x axis as shown. So clearly both reference angles are different . So 1st choice " angles donot have same reference angle" best explains it

Choice (2) and (3) are incorrect as tan is positive only in first and third quadrants and angle 300° is in fourth quadrant.

since angle 150° is in second quadrant and 300° is in fourth quadrant so both will have same negative sign so choice (4) is not correct.

So final ansewr is choice (1) "the angles donot have same reference angle"

I'm in algebra 1 please help i'm so lost
lesya692 [45]
Its a square, so all the sides are equal. Also, since the area of a square (rectangles) is equal to the height times the length, which are both the same, the area of the square is equal to x², where x is the length of any one side of the square, x²=256. now you square root both sides of that equation, x=√256, and the square root of 256 is 16.

Tl;Dr: each side is 16 feet long.
