Answer:

210 books

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello

I think  I can help you with this

Step 1

if one box is 7.5% of the total shipment, how many box is the total shipment

1 box =7.5%

x?box=100%

using a rule of three

\frac{1\ box}{7.5 } =\frac{x}{100}

Now, isolating x

\frac{1\ box*100}{7.5 } =x\\x=13.34\ boxes

13.34 boxes is the total

Step 2

find the total  of books

we will need 14 boxes, because it does not exist 0.34  box

so, the total of books=

number of boxes*number of books included in each box

=14 boxes*15 books

=210 books

Have a great day

Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The null hypothesis is H_0: \mu = 2.5.

The alternative hypothesis is H_1: \mu > 2.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose that a recent article stated that the mean time spent in jail by a first-time convicted burglar is 2.5 years.

At the null hypothesis, we test if the mean is of 2.5 years, that is:

H_0: \mu = 2.5

A study was then done to see if the mean time has increased in the new century.

At the alternative hypothesis, we test if the mean has increased, that is, if it is above 2.5 years. So

H_1: \mu > 2.5

These tables represent continuous functions. In which table do the values represent an exponential function.
Dennis_Churaev [7]
If you look at all 4 of these tables. Exponential means a large increase or gradual increase so. With that in mind if you look at table 1, the y column only increases by 5. For B, the y column only increases by 1. For C, the y column increase by 4 then 8 then 16 then 32. Therefore it is exponential. For D it is consistently an increase of 8.

Hope this helps!

In a school of 330 students, 85 of them are in a drama club, 200 of them are in a sports team and 60 of them do both
Neko [114]

Answer:

105/330 = 21/66 = 7/22

7/22 is the answer I think

Step-by-step explanation:

n(U) = 330

n(A) = 85

n(B) = 200

n(A n B) = 60

Now,

n(A U B) = n(A) + n(B) - n(A n B)

or, n(A U B) = 85 + 200 - 60

or, n(A U B) = 285 - 60 = 225

Now,

n(A U B) compliment = n(U) - n(A U B)

n(A U B) compliment = 330 - 225

so, n(A U B) compliment = 105

Now,

probability = 105/330
