2. You can create an equation because of this:
2x - 3 + 7x + 21 = 180
9x + 18 = 180
- 18
9x = 162
÷ 9
x = 18

3. <KMP is equal to <YMA because they are vertically opposite, so you can substitute in the value of x to find it.
(7 × 18) + 21
126 + 21 = 147
answer = 147°

4. The complement of an angle is the value that makes it add up to 90°, so first we need to find <KMA:
(2 × 18) - 3
36 - 3 = 33°
90 - 33 = 57
answer = 57°
