Jan. profit.....    5625.14
feb..loss...     - 4250.35
march..profit...1475.55

add the profits and subtract the losses...if the result is positive, then the company made a profit....if the result is negative, then the company had a loss.

(5625.14 + 1475.55) - 4250.35 = 7100.69 - 4250.35 = 2850.34.....as u can see, the result ended in a positive number....so, in the 3 month period, the company made a profit of $ 2850.34 <==

The coordinates of the vertices of ΔDEF are D(2, 3), E(l, 1), and F(4, O).Find the coordinates for the image of ΔDEF after the t
spayn [35]

The translation 3 units to the right and 2 units down the plane will result in the coordinates D' (-1, 1),E'(-2, -1) and F' (1, -2)

Translation of coordinates

Translation is a transformation technique used to change the position of an object on an y-plane.

For instance translating a coordinate (x, y) into (x-3,y -2) means a shift of the image 3 units to the right and 2 units down the plane. In order to get the corresponding coordinates, we will subtract 3 from the x-coordinates and 2 from the y-coordinates.

Given the coordinate of the triangle DEF as shown;

ΔDEF

D(2, 3),

E(l, 1), and;

F(4, O)

The translation 3 units to the right and 2 units down the plane will result in the coordinates D' (-1, 1),E'(-2, -1) and F' (1, -2)

The vertex form of the equation of a parabola is y = 4(x - 2)2 - 1. What is the standard form of the equation?
Paladinen [302]
Ok so your original equation was y=4(x-2)²-1
Therefore we need to expand the bracket to find the original equation.
To do this we need to find (x-2)²=x²-4x+4
Now we multiply this by 4 and subtract 1
4x²-16x+15 Therefore B is the answer
