4. How did Thomas Edison’s invention of the light bulb affect industry? (1 point)
Bas_tet [7]
The light bulb affected industry because electric light made it possible for factories to run after dark. Once factories could keep producing goods, even through the night, they were able to produce goods at a faster pace. They were also able to produce larger quantities of merchandise. This helped industry, especially with keeping up with the rapidly growing population's demand for certain items or producing war time necessities.

How did sharecropping affect farming in the south
Stella [2.4K]
Oh! We just covered this unit, so I can help you here!
So, just like slavery, sharecropping was a cheap way to get labor. The only difference was that the white people had to actually pay the laborers. It also made it hard for blacks to escape from sharecropping, as the black codes said they must work, but basically banned every other form of work. It also said they MUST be employed by a white person at all times.
Hope this helps! Have a great day!
