LiRa [457]

When the bystander intervention approach involves giving someone the responsibility to ensure people leave a party, this is called Delegation.

Bystander Intervention refers to stepping in to solve a problematic or potentially problematic situation in order to protect someone.

There are several strategies to this including:

  • Direct intervention - the bystander actually intervenes
  • Distraction - Bystander tries to distract the parties involved
  • Delay - Bystander intervenes after the incident to see what they can do
  • Delegation - Bystander calls someone who is better able to handle the situation

The above is therefore delegation as it involves leaving the responsibility of making sure everyone leaves to a person who is better able at handling such as task to ensure that they all leave.

In conclusion, bystander intervention comes in various ways and delegation is one of them.

bekas [8.4K]

When the movement is modified it indicates that a habit or behavior is continually or regularly done. This type of action is called temporal aspect in ASL.

According to this aspect of ASL, the movement of the predicate, or in simple terms, the verb, can be changed usually by repeating the movement. Once facial expressions contribute to the apt representation of the sign, adding more meaning to it and helping convey attitude and intention, specifically.

The verb inflection of duration has elliptical, long and repeated movements while the verb inflection of frequency has straight movement of verbs. Having said that, it is important to note that not all verbs can be modulated to temporal aspects in ASL.

What does the judicial branch do? Be specific.
madam [21]

The judicial branch of the government interprets laws. When cases are brought to the Supreme Court (or any other lower civil court in the United States), it is the Court's (judiciary's) job to interpret the relevant law in the case. The Court might decide that the law is being unfairly executed or that the law was unconstitutional to begin with. Whatever the Court decides, this becomes the precedent for how the law must be interpreted. Since the Supreme Court is the highest court in the land, it can determine how laws must be interpreted for the entire country.
