Answer:

This is Alarm.

Explanation:

Adrenocorticotropic hormones and stress.

This the hormones secreted at the corticotrophs cells of the anterior pituitary glands. Its major function is to ensure the efficient functioning of the Adrenal gland and  body response to  stress. It is also mediate the secretion of cortisol from the cortex of the adrenal gland  into the blood stream. When it is released into the blood streams it binds to the receptors in the adrenal gland to stimulate the release of cortisol hormone.

ACTH controls  diurnal (circadian) rhythm in human. This is because it peaks in the morning and progressively reduced  towards the end of the day, with lowest concentration  during  period of sleeping.

Generally stress either by dehydration or  internal complications, leads to increase in solute potential of the blood.Stress increases the activation of ACTH from the adrenal gland while boosting the concentration of cortisol. When the stress is sensed by the brain, this causes the release of  corticotrophin-releasing hormone into the bllood.

The latter cause the discharge into the blood stream of ACTH via hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis.As this enters the blood it binds to the receptors  for the cortisol secretions in the cortex of the  adrenal gland to produce cortisol as explained earlier.Cortisol is the primary sex hormone which create the alarm.

The multiple nuclei in skeletal muscle cells are the result of the
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

Fusion of embryonic myoblasts, each having its own nucleus to many other myoblasts to form the multinucleated skeletal muscle fibers.

Explanation:

The multiple nuclei in skeletal muscle cells are as a result of fusion of embryonic myoblasts, each having its own nucleus to many other myoblasts to form the multinucleated skeletal muscle fibers. This gives rise to multiple copies of genes, allowing production of the large amounts of proteins and enzymes and ATPs needed for muscle contraction.

Plasmids are typically transferred among members of a bacterial community by ________ gene transfer.
disa [49]

Answer:

Horizontal

Explanation:

Horizontal gene transfer may be defined as the transfer of the genetic material from the parents to their offspring. Three main methods of horizontal gene transfer are conjugation, transformation and transduction.

The transfer of plasmid among the members of bacterial community mainly occur by the horizontal gene transfer. This transfer of genetic material allows the bacteria to withstand at extreme conditions, confer antiobiotic resistance and increase their chance of survival in the environment.

Thus, the answer is horizontal gene transfer.

Predict how many double helical molecules of dna will be present in the gametes of the fruit fly, drosophila, a diploid organism
anygoal [31]
The answer is four double-helical molecules of DNA, which match up to four unreplicated chromosomes. In addition, for fruit fly gametes the haploid number is 4 in which can be written as N = 4. The meiosis is a procedure in which the amount of chromosomes per cell is cut in partial in excess of the parting of homologous chromosomes in a diploid cell.
