WILL MARK BRAINLIEST PLEASE HELP !!! What is the equation of the line in standard form?
OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:  C   3x + 5y = 1

Solution:

Step 1: To find the equation of line first using both the coordinates given on the graph find the slope using the formula below.

The coordinates are ( -3, 2 ) and ( 2, -1)

m = y2-y1/x2-x1

m = -1-2 / 2- (-3)

m = -3 / 5

Step 2: Now to find line of equation of line we need to find the y intercept using the equation:

y = mx + b

Where

y = y coordinate  m = slope   x = x coordinate    b = y intercept

Choose any one pair of coordinates to find the y intercept. I will be using  (2,  -1)

y = mx + b

-1 = ( -3 / 5) (2) + b

-1 = -6 / 5 + b       ( Don't forget to take the LCM)

-1 = -6/5 + 5b

-5+6 = 5b

1/5 = b

so the equation of line is

y = -3/5 x + 1/5

5y = -3x + 1

3x + 5y = 1

1) The cost of a charm bracelet is $12 without the charms. There is an additional cost of $6 for each charm added to the bracele
choli [55]

The equation used to model the cost of the bracelet would be y = 6c + 12, in which c is the number of charms on the bracelet. This is because even with no charms (c = 0), the bracelet still costs 12, which is the constant.

To solve for how many charms you can get with $96, you can plug 96 in for y and solve.

y = 6c + 12

96 = 6c + 12

84 = 6c

14 = c
