Blank Verse Form poem uses both iambic pentameter and blank verse.Blank verse is unrhymed verse in iambic pentameter lines. This means that rhythm is biased towards a pattern in which an unstressed syllable is followed by a stressed one ( iambic ) and that each normal line has ten syllables ,five of them stressed(pentameter).

In A tree grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, what activity helps Francie avoid telling lies?
san4es73 [151]

You can also write: Writing stories in an outlet is what helps Francie avoid telling lies. As stated in lines 143-145, "What was important was that the attempt to write stories kept her straight on the dividing line between truth and fiction." This is all thanks to her teacher's advice.

Speech about “people are not satisfied with what they have “
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

Good morning/evening ladies and gentlemen today I am here to talk about the topic people are never satisfied with what they have . They always want more . For example if I stop right now the teacher won't give me marks since she wants me to say more about the topic :-) We don't want that now soo let me continue people are never satisfied with what they have they are greedy and sometimes this greed leads to disasters .But for some others a bit greed can help them be successful. This people are very kind and they know how hard life is so they try to make it a bit easier for other people. This will lead them to even more success and in turn more people will be helped by them . But since people are greedy at one point or the other they will stop helping society. They forget where they came from and starts thinking only about themselves. This is why there are people around the world who don't get food ,water and other basic necessities.I am not telling that the rich are obliged to help the poor but the people who are really in need for help like orphans. But they don't do this because of greed. If it wasn't for greed many people would have had a better life but for many life wouldn't be so kind.So greed is a necessary evil like friction. As you need to apply lubricants to prevent friction from ruining things . You need to learn to control greed but many people don't do so because they don't want others to be as great as them, because of greed. This leads to the fact people are never satisfied with what they have and never will be .

Thank you and have a nice day.

Explain why it is important for readers to understand historical context and provide one example to support your claim?
dalvyx [7]

Understanding the historical context of a work of literature is important to better comprehend, and ultimately enjoy, that work and fully appreciate its significance. When reading a play by Shakespeare, for instance, the reader will benefit from knowing the religious, political, and social changes that took place in England when he wrote some of his works - that is, the historical context. Othello or King Lear, just to name some of his most renowned works, were composed during James I's reign, which was characterized by a fierce absolutism, hence the themes around which those plays revolve - ambition, betrayal, greed, fate, jealousy, and hatred, to name a few.
