Answer: The nuclear envelope is a membrane similar to the cell membrane around the whole cell. There are pores and spaces for RNA and proteins to pass through while the nuclear envelope keeps all of the chromatin and nucleolus inside. Chromatin is made of DNA, RNA, and nuclear proteins.

Why are girls more likely than boys to be victims of cyberbullying
podryga [215]

Girls are more verbal than boys and more likely to use words to hurt than fists. Previous studies have found that girls are more likely to cyberbully than boys while boys are more likely to be physical. When you look at overall bullying, girls are still significantly higher than boys (but most of that increase comes from the online or by text).

Hopefully this helped! :D

Suppose that exposure to a chemical mutagen results in a change in the sequence that alters the 5' end of intron 1 (I₁). What mi
Igoryamba

Answer:

d. inclusion of I1 in the mRNA

Explanation:

Introns are any nucleotide sequence within the gene that is non-coding and it is usually removed  by RNA splicing.

When an RNA transcript is made, it is considered as pre-mRNA. The pre-RNA  contains both the introns and the exons. For it to mature into mRNA, the introns should be spliced and the exons are joined together to form the mRNA.

A mutation might result to the intron I1 not getting spliced hence it will be included in the mRNA.

Mazyrski [523]

Chemically straightening hair changes the shape of disulfide bonds, which alpha keratin protein; this is the second protein structure. However, as the hair continues to grow out, this keratin protein grows with it, thus outlasting the effects of the chemicals which change the shape of the protein.
