A survey indicated that 3 out of 5 doctors use brand x aspirin. If 2000 doctors were surveyed how many used brand x? show work please!

Divide 2000 by 5 and then multiply by 3 to get your answer. 
2000/5=400 
400x3=1200 

so 1200 doctors used brand x. ;)

of means times
2000 X .60=1200 doctors used brand x
