In the square ABCD, AE = 3x + 5 and BD = 10x + 2. What is the length of line AC?

10 x + 2 = 2 * ( 3 x + 5 )
10 x + 2 = 6 x + 10
10 x - 6 x = 10 - 2
4 x = 8
x = 8 : 4
x = 2
And the line AC is equal to BD.
AC = 10 * 2 + 2 = 20 + 2 = 22
