The country among the choices which has about 20 active volcanoes is the Philippines. The PHIVOLCS which is the Philippine national institution dedicated to studies on volcanoes have identified at least 23 volcanoes as active with 21 of them having historical eruptions.
The Suez Canal was built in the 1860s. It opened in 1869. It was built by a co. called the Suez Canal Co.. It was a co. that was owned mostly by investors from France, some Egyptian but not as much, most the workers were forced to help build it by there govt.
