You can use a proportion.

4 hours is to 82 miles as 14 hours is to x miles

4/82 = 14/x

Cross multiply to get

4x = 14 * 82

4x = 1148

x = 287

287 miles

287 miles. 82 divided by 4 is 20.5 multiply that by 14 and that equals 287. I hope it’s right!
