Answer:

The function is given to be :

y=-0.5\sqrt{x-3}+2

Since, square root function cannot have negative value for any real value of square root

⇒ x - 3 > 0

⇒ x > 3

At x = 3 , y = 2

So, graph of the given function will have least value of x = 3 and highest value of x = ∞

Least value of y = -∞ and highest value of y = 2

Also, at y = 0, x-intercept , x = 19

Hence, the required graph of the given function is given below :

The graph of <span>y=-0.5 sqrt (x-3)+2
Df= {x/x-3>=0}
Df= [3, + infinity[
derivative of f(x)
f'(x)= -0.5 x 2 /</span>sqrt (x-3)= - 1/sqrt (x-3) <0, f is a decreasing function for all x in the Df
limf(x)=2 x--------->3,  limf(x)=-infinity, x--------->+infinity

gavmur [86]

3\frac{3}{35} pound of strawberry

Step-by-step explanation:

Given parameters:

    Pounds of strawberry picked by Lexi =2 \frac{7}{10}

    Pounds of strawberry eaten by Lexi sister = \frac{7}{8}

Unknown:

Pound of strawberry Lexi's sister ate = ?

Solution:

This is a fraction word problem.

  Let pound of strawberry eaten by Lexi's sister = K

We can establish that:

  Pound of strawberry eaten by Lexi sister x K = Pound of strawberry picked by Lexi

Mathematically we have:

         \frac{7}{8} x K = 2 \frac{7}{10}

Find the area of each figure. Round to the nearest tenth if necessary.
Nataly_w [17]

Answer:

220ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

In red: 12ft - 10ft = 2ft and there 2 sides so 2ft / 2 = 1ft

In blue: 18ft - 12ft = 6ft

The missing area in dark blue: 6ft x 1ft = 6 / 2 = 3

total rectangle area: 12ft x 18ft = 216

216 - (3 + 3) = 216 - 6 = 200            subtract 6, we added that area in

Written as a percent, what is the probability of getting an odd number on a spinner with 4 equal parts numbered 1 to 4?A.20%B.25
Komok [63]

Answer:

C: 50%

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 2 even numbers and 2 odd numbers on the spinner.

Therefore, the probabilty of getting an odd number is 2/4 = 1/2 = 0.5 = 0.5 x 100 = 50%
