2) Heat

Only heat can be transferred from one object to another object by the means of conduction , convection and radiation .Even if the energy is being transferred by kinetic energy that is also in the form of heat .This can simply be understood by taking the example of two balls say one ball is stationary and other one is moving ,the particles inside the moving ball is having high kinetic energy as compared to that of stationary and when the both the balls colloid the energy is transferred in the form of heat and the other ball which was at stationary starts moving .

So,ultimately heat is transferred between objects.

I think that they will gain water in the distilled water and lose water in salty water. I think water will be lost because salt is used as an drying agent, it is why when it snow they will put salt on ice to keep the ice from being slippery because it dries things up. When is the generation of an action potential impossible no matter the strength of the stimulus?
ANTONII [103]
The right answer is Refractory period.

At the moment when the action potential is emitted, the fiber being depolarized, it is impossible to depolarize it again. It is, therefore, necessary to wait until the membrane potential returns to a value below the critical threshold in order to be able to excite it again. We are thus led to distinguish two periods that characterize its excitability.
An absolute refractory period: during which any stimulation, even supraliminal, is ineffective since the fiber is already depolarized.
A relative refractory period: during which a second action potential can be omitted provided that the depolarization produced by the excitation reaches the critical threshold, which implies that it is more important since the value of the resting potential has not been restored yet.
