Michael Mack talks about how contemporaries of William Shakespeare made it clear to literature lovers that reading Shakespeare's works will make them learn not only about literature but also about how art is related to literature.

Explanation:

In the entire speech of Mack, he gives references to his ideas and opinions. With a clean approach on what other's works consist of and what Shakespeare writes, he talks about the similarities and greater differences and difficulties in Shakespeare's works. He says that reading Shakespeare can help readers understand more about language and expression. Once we reread those classics, we start to realize how expressions, actions relate to the personality and characterization of that specific character in that play.

Lines 111-132 are towards the end of this speech by Mack. In these lines, Mack talks about his personal take on rereading Shakespeare every time he has to deal with something different in life, relationships and work. He gives a classic reference from Macbeth, about how all of us crave for power and behave like Macbeth in reality.

In these lines, Mack talks about how we understand the art of living when we reread these works in English literature and not just art of language.
