You would write 0.08
This is because the zeros aren't really a number so you would go to 7 because it's a figure. Rounding it you'll get 8, you don't need to add the two 00 after because they don't mean anything.

The number in decimals, 0.0763 has 3 significant digits.As, digit 0 which is appearing before 7 has no significant value.

So, Number 0.0763 expressed in one significant figure= 0.078

Why i have written this, because the digit 7 is greater than 5 , so 763 will correspond to 800.

So, 0.0763 = 0.0800=0.08

the grade 8 has hired a disk jockey the disk jockey takes 85$ plus 2 for each student that attends. The disk jockey was paid 197
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

56 students

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation for your question is 85+2x=197. First you would have to subtract 85, on both sides, leaving you with 2x=112. Then, you'd have to divide by 2 on both sides to isolate the variable. From there, you're left with x=56.

Given that line a is parallel to line b and that line c isparallel to line d, if m<13 = (12x – 22)° and m<14 = (9x – 29)°,
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

∠ 2 = 70°

Step-by-step explanation:

∠ 13 and ∠ 14 are adjacent angles and sum to 180° , then

12x - 22 + 9x - 29 = 180

21x - 51 = 180 ( add 51 to both sides )

21x = 231 ( divide both sides by 21 )

x = 11

Then

∠ 14 = 9x - 29 = 9(11) - 29 = 99 - 29 = 70°

∠ 7 = ∠ 14 = 70° ( Alternate angles )

∠ 2 = ∠ 7 = 70° ( Alternate angles )

How many 10 oz servings are in a 5-quart pitcher of lemonade?

There are ? Servings
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

There are 16 servings

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find how many oz are in 5 quarts.

Think: In one quart there are 32 ounces, in 5 quarts how many ounces would that be?

5 x 32 = 160 ounces

Next, divide 160 ounces by 10 servings

160 / 10 = 16 servings

So there are 16 servings in a 5 quart pitcher.

Hope this helps ;)
