Answer:

Yes. Firms that sell products that depend partly on demographic factors are more likely to be affected by business cycle.

Explanation:

Businesses whose demand depend partly in demographic factors (population based on race, sex, age, etc) such as homebuilders are affected by business cycles/seasons.

Demand for new houses can depend on some business seasons. A family that wants to move to a new location will consider age of the kids, parents before moving to a volatile neighborhood. Older people tend to prefer quieter areas, while younger people may prefer a more lively place to meet new friends.

Members of a race might want a new house because the vicinity is within a community of people of same race or social disposition.

On June 15, 2021, Allen sold land held for investment to Stan for $65,000 and an installment note of $300,000 payable in five eq
hjlf

The amount of gain that will be recognized in 2021 under the installment method, is $27, 857 . 14

<h3>How to find the gain recognized?</h3>

First, find the profit margin on the land sold by Allen to Stan:
= ( Selling price of land - Allen's basis in the land) / Allen's basis in the land

= ( ( 300, 000 + 65, 000) - 255, 500) ) / 255, 500

= 109, 500 / 255, 500

= 42. 857 %

The gain to be recognized, using the installment method is:
= Profit margin x Amount paid by Allen in 2021

= 42. 857 % x $ 65, 000

= $27, 857 . 14

Which statement best describes how the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants' (IESBA) Code impacts the U.S. accou
Mrrafil [7]

The AICPA is required to adopt ethics standards that are at least as restrictive as the IESBA rules , The Last Statement describes how the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants' (IESBA) Code impacts the U.S. accounting profession

Explanation:

In February 2017, the AICPA Executive board on Professional Ethics decided to suggest changes to the system of professional conduct requiring certain measures when members are aware of non-compliance with legislation or regulations related to their involvement or employment.

IESBA also created a structure for accountants to follow the IESBA Professional Accountants ' Code of Ethics–in particular the problem of the tension between sharing non-compatibility with appropriate people and keeping client or contractor knowledge confidential— while hearing of unlawful acts under the new standard. The application of this code has been called NOCLAR. The recommendation from the AICPA is largely in line with the IESBA system, but significant differences do remain.

Vesna [10]

Answer:

A) the implied 1 year forward rates respectively 9,8 , 11,81 and 13,83 according to the formular

Explanation:

b) pure expactations true then

1.108²/1.098 - 1 =11.81% for a two year bond

1.118²/1.108 - 1 = 12.81% for a three year bond

The answere: The will be a shift upwards in next years curve.

c) Assume a par of 1000

in the next year a two year zero coupon bond will be a year zero and sell at 1000/1.1181 = 894.37 to get the return we take divide selling prices at year zero the trading price according to ytm is 1000/1.108² =814.55

therefore expected return  894.37/814.55= 9.79%

c2 the zero coupon bond at three year zero is trading at 1000/1.1282 = 886.446 and according to the ytm the coupon is trading at 1000/13.83^3= 715.607

therefore the expected return is

785.711/715.607=9.79%
