1.) The ratio from comedies to actions was 5 : 2 and we know that there were 15 comedies. How did we get from 5 comedies to 15 as shown in the ratio? We multiplied 3 to get the total. To get the total number of action movies, we multiply 3 as well.
2 x 3 = 6
6 is our final answer.

2.) Deleted to kept was 7 : 2. He deleted 14. How did we get from 7 deleted in the ratio to 14 deleted total? Multiplied 2. So multiply 2 to 2 as well.
2 x 2 = 4
So Billy kept 4 AND deleted 14. Add these to get a total of 18 songs originally.

3.) If the total was 65 and there were 25 small fries, we first have to find the number of large fries to find the ratio.
Subtract 65 - 25 to find the number of large fries and you get 40.
There are 40 large fries and 25 small fries.
The ratio should be 40 : 25 but we can simplify this further.
Divide 5 on both sides.
40/5 = 8
25/5 = 5
Our final ratio is 8 : 5

4.) Winning to losing is 7 : 6. The ratio win is 7, the total wins is 42. From the ratio to the total, we multiply 6. To find the total losses, we multiply 6 to the ratio of losses.
6 x 6 = 36
We get a total of 36 people that lost.

I hope you get the idea, find the number you multiply from ratio to total, multiply it to the other number. If you have any other questions just ask! :)

How do I solve this graph
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
Plug in two values for x, say, 0 and 1.

Lets start with solving the equation when x=0.

y=2(0)-3
y=0-3
y=-3.

So, when x=0, y=-3.  Graph (0, -3)

Next, x=1

y=2(1)-3
y=2-3
y=-1

So, when x=1, y=-1.  Graph (1,-1)

Draw a line between the two points, and that should be your answer!  Hope this helped :)
