The legislative branch of the government consists of the house of the senate and the House of Representatives and together they form the Congress. Since the House of the Representatives are elected every two years, and are chosen from normal and honest citizens, the people are guaranteed to have their voice really heard and represented at the Congress. When the citizens think they need a law to benefit society the take a bill to their representatives who have the power to present it to the congress and introduce for legislation if voted in favor.

The main and most important job of the Legislative branch of the government is to create laws or amend existing ones.
