Answer: Endocytosis

Explanation:  Endocytosis can be defined as  the process by which the substances are brought inside the cell.

The material that is taken inside the cell is surrounded by an area of the cell membrane which buds off within the cell to from vesicle which consists of the ingested material.

It includes and cell drinking( pinocytosis) and cell eating (phagocytosis). It takes place by the help of energy that why known as active transport.
