Answer Explanation:

Attorneys finds it more convenient to advocate for prosecutors or the police whom are believed to be upholding law and order in the society but may find it difficult to defend a guilty person against serious charges. But it is worthy to note that the failure of these attorneys to advocate for both parties can permit the law enforcement to trample on the liberty of anyone and everyone, even those that may be innocent.

Answer:

Explanation:

The United States legal system is founded on the basis that it is better to let a guilty individual(s) go free than to wrongly convict an innocent individual(s).

A criminal defense attorney's job is to raise reasonable doubt in his or her client’s guilt, as long as it is ethical to do so. Attorneys are required to zealously represent their clients, no matter what their personal view of the suit may be. Defense attorneys are required to do their possible best to advocate for their clients, even if the attorney believes the client is guilty.

IT IS NOT THE ROLE OF THE ATTORNEY TO DETERMINE WHETHER A CLIENT IS GUITY OR NOT. IT IS THE ATTORNEY'S JOB TO MAKE SURE THAT HIS OR HER CLIENT GETS A FAIR TRIAL.

Mental tricks that people use to help themselves believe things that are false are called <u>"Self-deception strategies".</u>

Self-deception is a procedure of denying or justifying ceaselessly the pertinence, noteworthiness, or significance of contradicting proof and consistent contention. Self-deception includes persuading oneself regarding a reality (or absence of truth) so one doesn't uncover any self-information of the misdirection.

Self-deception raises doubt about the idea of the individual, particularly in a mental setting and the idea of "self". Mindlessness is the establishment whereupon the contended conundrums of self-duplicity stem, and it is argued[weasel word] that not every person has the "exceptional abilities" and capacities with respect to self-trickiness.

Kruka [31]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

<em>Agenda-setting theory</em> is a social science theory which attempts to make predictions regarding the influence of the media. It describes the ability of news media to influence the important topics on the public agenda.

This theory argues that the news media has a great influence on the audience by covering some news more frequently and prominently, thus making the audience think of it as more important.

Nevertheless, news media does not operate within a vacuum. Policy makers and participation of the public have an important role when it comes to the decision of what makes public priorities. Therefore the society is active in building the setting and making a causal relationship with the media which then is reshaping the agenda-setting.
